Sure, there's the hope that you'll learn about some new bands you didn't know before, but I won't play anything that's obscure simply for the sake of being obscure. Since FFR is all about introducing you to new sounds, most of the music will be relatively recent. That doesn't rule out me coming across an amazing older singer, or finally getting into a band everyone else has been raving about for the past 20 years (cough cough Smiths cough cough), though.
